Which IP rating do outdoor fixtures need?
For sheltered spots such as under eaves, IP54 is sufficient; for open areas exposed directly to rain, IP65 is recommended. Each model's IP rating is stated in its description.
Can I choose the light colour (colour temperature)?
Most integrated-LED models offer selectable colour temperature (CCT), so you can pick warm, neutral or cool white to suit the space. On GU10/E27 lampholder models, the bulb you fit determines the colour.
Are motion-sensor (PIR) or photocell options available?
Yes. Selected outdoor models include a PIR motion sensor that switches the light on as you approach, or a photocell that turns it on at dusk and off at dawn.
